We know that slime mould can design a transport system for Tokyo better than a human being can. We know that bats have 15,000 different words that they teach their children in a similar way to how we teach our children. This speaks of our ability now to engage with this vast array of diverse intelligences that we haven't had access to in the same way before. For me, this is what's been missing in our responses to climate and our attempts to transition up until now, that we've been trying to tackle a problem, the roots of which belong to our separation from nature, in this entirely human way.
