Mo Sarrar is a Sudanese Musician, Singer, Songwriter and Actor living in London. He was pursuing a successful musical career in his home country of Sudan, before political unrest caused him to flee. Following his arrival in the UK, Mo began to reignite his music career, performing at gigs, concerts and events around the whole United Kingdom. He worked with Good Chance Theatre to create the award-winning show The Jungle, in which he has acted, sung and performed, to sell out audiences in London’s West End, New York and San Fransisco. Together with Zimbabwean musician John Falsetto and featuring Syrian spoken word from Ammar Haj Ahmad, Mo performs Sounds of Refuge, an album produced by Good Chance and recorded at Abbey Road Studios.
Recently returned from sell-out performances of ‘The Jungle’ in New York, this night Mo will be performing songs rooted in the traditions of Sudan, as well as his own compositions fused with his own love of world music. Mo will be accompanied by two other musicians.
