Christian worship

St Ethelburga’s Centre is consecrated for Christian worship and we hold a monthly service of Holy Communion in the nave. People of all Christian denominations are welcome to celebrate. People of all faiths and none are most welcome to attend, and to receive a blessing if they wish. We use a traditional liturgy from the Iona Community, and the service will include readings and an address from our Chaplain, Revd Dr James Walters, also Chaplain at the London School of Economics.

Monthly service of Holy Communion

We hold our monthly Eucharist on the first Wednesday of each month from 1pm to 1.30pm, and refreshments are available after the service. You are welcome to come into the space to pray when it is not otherwise in use. Click here for our Prayer for an End to Violence.

Mindfulness meditation

The London Meditation Project offers friendly meditation courses two early mornings a week in the Tent with Catherine Powell.  Starting the day with Mindfulness gets us more in tune and able to meet the challenges of our lives.  It sets the stage for how we want to treat others and ourselves throughout the day.  For more info about course dates and times contact:
