Join us for a celebration of Iran's rich musical tradition with Shahab Azinmehr accompanied by Fariborz Kiani at 'Listen to the World'. This is an in-person event which is also live streamed. Free tickets for refugees and asylum seekers.
A message from our perfomers: “This special performance of Classical Persian music is entitled, ‘Clouds come towards you’. It is a tribute to the people of Iran, as a symbol of our heartfelt compassion and anguish in these turbulent times.”
With many thanks to Making Tracks , with whom Shahab performed in 2022, for making images available for the promotion of this event.
‘Listen to the World’ is a place of live music where the traditions and talents of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers find a home among local artists. Come and join us, as either a listener or performer, everyone is welcome.
