Local Londoners

You've been here a while and know and love the city!

Doing great work welcoming and supporting newcomers.

Welcome to our monthly gathering bringing new Londoners, those who left their homes to seek safety and build a new life in the UK, and local Londoners together for an afternoon of connection, networking, conversation and enjoyment.

Are you a local Londoner who is interested in getting to know refugees and asylum seekers, showing hospitality and sharing your passion for this city?

Did you leave your homeland to seek safety and build a new life here in the UK? Do you feel at home in London?  Would you like to meet people who have been living in London for a while and know their way around?

Then join us for this exciting, creative community event where our shared humanity is more important than any label of refugee or asylum seeker; where all have a place to exchange and share passions and talents.

Doors open with refreshments at 11.30am.

Event begins at 12noon and will include:

  • Welcome
  • Facilitated connection making
  •  English conversation session
