About Mudibu (aka JpBimeni)

We’re delighted to be welcoming Burundian-born soul singer Mudibu’s  (aka JpBimeni) to Listen to the World! Fresh from the launch of his second album, and a stunning sell-out performance at PizzaExpress Live Mudibu’s stunning vocals are described as ‘resonant of Otis Redding and the soul of Africa’.  This will be a memorable evening with Mudibu and guest musicians, including master Kora player Kadialy Kouyate, for an intimate and mostly acoustic set of songs about his home Burundi, loss, love and hope.  This set is being premiered at St Ethelburga’s so please come and join us!
