COVID-19 is affecting us all. Using centering prayer and a contemplative activism practice, we will be hosting a free group conversation to explore our response to the Coronavirus through the lens of our 4 values at St Ethelburgas – asking:

  • What opportunities are to be found in this crisis?
  • How can we commit to protecting the sacred?
  • In what way can we continue to build and foster community across difference, even as we are required to self isolate and social distance?
  • How are we putting our values into action – what is ours to do?

As with everything during this uncertain time, this is an experiment – we invite you to participate with us in a spirit of trust, respect, and sensitivity 😊

For those of you who are new to Zoom – when you join the call please help us by:

  • Choosing the ‘gallery view’ in the top right corner so you can see everyone on the call
  • muting your mics until you speak
  • choosing whether you would like to have your video on or off
  • being assured that this won’t be recorded
  • using the chat box function if needed
