Volunteers play a central part in the St Ethelburga's community, and are involved in most aspects of the Centre's work. Typical roles include:
- planning and running events
- research projects
- using professional skills (e.g. marketing, IT)
- helping in the office
- practical work around the building
Sometimes we can arrange short or medium term placements.
Volunteers clear the ground in preparation for the construction of the Tent.
We have a simple process of matching your skills to our needs and there are many opportunities and ways to get involved with St Ethelburga's depending on your skills, experiences, interests and the time you are able to give.
We aim to provide volunteers with opportunities that will enhance their own education and development. We also offer support and guidance to our volunteers and seek to involve them in our life here.
If you would you like to be part of the life of St Ethelburga's Centre and are able to commit some time, we would like to hear from you. Please contact Angela (020 7496 1611).
