We are currently engaged in a number of projects that aim to support people in building relationships across divisions and differences. These include:
Face to face reconciliation
Supporting people from specific diaspora groups to build relationships with each other and to promote peacemaking within their communities in the UK and back home.
Gullion Link
An exchange programme bringing together young people from Tower Hamlets with young people from Newry, Northern Ireland, to explore issues of identity and conflict
Community reconciliation
Pilot projects working with local people, initially in Bow and Southwark, to develop a practical model for identifying divisions in the local comnunity and finding creative ways bridging them.
Authentic Communication
A new modular training programme aiming to help individuals develop their inter-personal skills. The course covers: Listening, Asking Questions, Expressing Yourself, and Disagreeing.
Healing of memories retreat days
Providing a safe space and pastoral support for people seeking refuge in the UK to reflect on their often traumatic personal stories and their needs for emotional and spiritual healing.
